When we started The Source Academy, I wasn't trying to build a school. I was trying to build a home for something I believe deeply: that we can live better, as whole, integral human beings, and that our children deserve to grow up inside that kind of life, not just hear about it.
I think this generation of parents is being asked to do something. The world has drifted from the things that make us truly happy, family, real relationships, a sense of purpose, and, without stepping into any religion, a quiet recognition that there is something greater than us that connects us all. I don't believe we fix that from the outside. I believe we start small, at home, and we show our children the world we want by living it in front of them.
That's why The Source is more than a school to me. It's the heart of a community, and the most important part of a larger calling I've taken on: to help heal the world in whatever measure I can, alongside an initiative I'll be sharing soon called The Source Collective.
I want to be clear about one thing. This vision is my foundation, it is not a set of beliefs your family has to share. Every family raises their children in their own values, and that's exactly how it should be. What the school does is help each child discover their own genius, find their talents, and learn how to learn. What I hope for beyond that is simpler: that we build this together, that we add to one another's lives, families, and work, and that we hold these relationships with real care.
