Tuition
Tuition at The Source is meant to be simple and transparent. Here's what it costs to join our founding community, and where every dollar goes.

Where your tuition goes
The Source was built with a clear purpose: to serve the school and the families in it. Your tuition goes into the quality of your child's day, the guides and materials that make it possible, and the strength of our community. Our founder draws his living from other ventures (some already established, others in the works), which means the school doesn't have to support him. That is by design: our aim in the medium term is to reinvest most, and ideally all, of what the school earns back into it, into the experience, into our community, and into growing thoughtfully over time so we can reach more families. We measure success by what The Source becomes for your children, not by what it returns to us.
A founding year, by design
We open our doors on September 8, 2026 with a small, intentional group of founding families. Our permanent campus is still taking shape (we are completing that process with the City of Raleigh), and we chose to begin now, small and on purpose, with families who can already see what we are building. Founding families help shape the culture of the school from its very first day, and they will always hold a special place in its story.
NC Opportunity Scholarship
North Carolina offers the Opportunity Scholarship, a state program (administered by NCSEAA) that helps families pay private-school tuition. We are working toward becoming an approved Opportunity Scholarship school. For our founding year, we do not expect these funds to be available yet. We anticipate families may be able to apply the scholarship toward tuition beginning in the 2027 to 2028 school year, pending approval. We are glad to talk through what this could mean for your family, and the latest details are always at ncseaa.edu.
More than a school
The Source is the heart of a community, families who believe we can live more fully, raise our children with intention, and give them a real, practical experience of the world we hope to build. It is also the foundation of something larger we are creating, The Source Collective (more on that soon).
